Local Road Safety Strategic Plan

A Local Road Safety Strategic Plan can provide a framework and direction for your council, organisation, or business to follow to improve road safety using the Safe System approach.

It’s important to reach out and engage with local stakeholders who have road safety objectives early in the planning process so that their perspectives are considered. You may also identify stakeholders who can contribute, but who do not currently recognise road safety as part of their priorities.

This short video and infographic will highlight what's important when developing your plan.
